Believe!

hail the omnissiah

You can get up to 6 souls for the first sacrifice, and 13 for the second.

Should leave you with 7 workers by the end.

wait you can sacrifice golems?

You can't and you don't need to. All your workers are enough to unlock everything.

(+1)

Ehehe

Ehehe

(+2)

i had five workers left

(+5)

Yall realize you can click when dropping the worker to get multiple souls right? I've gotten up to 3 souls for 1 worker

(+1)

it does work,I get 2 souls per worker

(+2)

You can get four from one human.

(+2)(-1)

i got 9 from one human.

Great game, just spent an hour trying to save one person :3

(-1)

i had two humans left at the end

How?

(-1)

No you didn't.

it's possible it's just you have to be smart about the sacrifices it is possible to have 2 left and I have all my stuff ran by glomes

Its ever possible with 3.

This:

To this:

i got 4 left

(+3)

It's sad when you finally build the temple but have no one left to enjoy it :(

(+2)

The golems get to enjoy the temple ^^

(+1)

I LOVED IT, when the games end i was like noooooo very good game

(+7)

golem >>> human

(+3)

like everyone else, i definitely see a little story in this game. intended or not. it's a lot of fun and those small pixel people are so cute!

(+4)

Started with 8 people. but when everything was done, there was no one left for the temple. just tireless golems remains. oh...........

(+6)

The game really surprised me with the amount of feelings it was able to evoke in me. If you don't make any golems there will be only one worker alive when the temple is finished and that's just so lonely but if you do make the golems then none of the workers that began the construction will even get to see the finished temple, so what's the point? And if there's only golems left at the end what will they do when the temple is finished? Cause the thing they were created to build is finished and the people that made them are gone. Seriously the game sent me in a existential crisis spiral.

interesting game

Really fun game! Are you planning on developing it further?

(+2)

Victory... but at what cost?

(+11)

I saved 6 humans by using a little exploit :) when you convert humans to souls, if you click very fast you can get 3-4 souls from one sacrifice.

Oh thanks. I used an autoclicker (gave 8 souls) and only had to kill one

(+1)

I really liked it! It is good for what it is, but I think you have the start of something great here! I look forward to future iterations. :)

(+1)

Short but fun! The pixel art is great too :D

(+3)

This was such a unique game, let alone for something made during Ludum Dare! I love the metaphor and the experience as a whole :D I didn't even consider that the golem factory required a soul and that's how to save a person, oh noooooooooooooooo I just dove into it like "YES!!! More workers!!!!! Let's doooooooo thisssssssssss!!!"

(+1)

(+3)

Fun game! at the start you have to decide if you want to kill workers or not, but late game GOLUMS

(+2)(-1)

Game visuals broke, so had to reload... accidentally reset 30 minutes of progress

(+4)

(+2)

Fun game!

(+7)

The management of your workers is so well put together! I had a lovely epiphany in the middle of gameplay where I realized that I had to start worrying about how many workers I had left . I loved this

(+3)

Terrifyingly accurate...

i win

i got full golem

(+9)

I don't want to kill the little workers.

(+2)

They're so cute, I felt bad...

Very cool :)

(+11)

We replaced the workforce with expendable machinations that have equally unwavering loyalty. Best game.
