Version 2 Patch Notes


The original version was made in 48 hours for a game jam, and there was a lot I wanted to do but didn't have time for. A year later, I'm back with an update! The game is still mostly the same, but I've improved a number of things:

  • New shop UI with equipment descriptions.
  • New visual effects and sound effects.
  • New options menu that allows you to toggle music or sound effects.

  • The game will no longer generate unsolvable levels where you're totally stuck and can' t move at all.
  • You can reset the current level if you made a misstep or realized a better solution.
  • You can no longer leave the dungeon whenever you want.
    • This was previously necessary to escape unsolvable levels, but now that all levels are solvable, I want to encourage players to puzzle it out rather than leaving.

  • Added rare slimes and treasure chests as you get deeper into the dungeon.
  • The Gloves now allow the Thief to push slimes around, in addition to breaking small stones by bouncing them.
  • Adjusted shop prices.
  • Added a way to win the game!


It's still a short and simple game, but hopefully these changes will let the procedural puzzles shine a bit more. Let me know what you think!
